Anneke Luijkenaar joined Heidrick & Struggles in 1999. She focuses on international search work in the fields of chemicals, oil & gas and natural resources.
Anneke´s executive search career spans over 20 years. She started her career in oil & gas recruiting and later moved to a major Canadian management consulting company in research management. As Director of Research with Davies Park & Associates, a start-up executive search firm, she was part of the company's successful expansion to other major cities. She built up the research department for Davies Park and gained strong generalist senior recruitment experience.
In 1996 Anneke founded her own company specializing in corporate recruitment and research services. She built a successful company with five research specialists and provided consulting services to major executive search firms and individual corporations across Canada.
In 1999 Anneke relocated to Europe and joined Heidrick & Struggles in the Amsterdam office. She works at an international level in conjunction with other Heidrick & Struggles offices throughout the world. She is a market specialist in chemicals, food ingredients, nutrition and process industries. Anneke is a member of the global Human Resources functional practice as well as the Global Quality Council of Heidrick & Struggles and is actively involved in professional development.
