Anne Derrick is Director of Business Development and is responsible for business development and licensing activities. Ms. Derrick joined Cangen in early 2007 after six years in increasingly responsible positions in business development with MGI Pharma Inc (formerly Guilford Pharmaceuticals) where she was involved in in-licensing and out-licensing activities for both diagnostic and therapeutic products in the oncology, neurology and other therapeutic areas. Her experience includes the performance of financial and technical analysis of potential opportunities, due diligence, contract negotiation and alliance management.
Ms. Derrick has a research and development background that includes experience in the clinical laboratory, diagnostic research and product development, technical services, sales, marketing and project management in both the biotech and pharmaceutical environment.
She received her master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College and her BS degree in Medical Technology from St. Francis University in Pennsylvania. |
