Anne Scoggin is an attorney in Leonard, Street and Deinard’s health care practice group, where she practices in the area of managed care law including advising health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, utilization review entities, third-party administrators, employee assistance programs and telephone triage services on all matters involving health care businesses. Her experience includes negotiating managed arrangements with insurance companies, health maintenance organizations, self-insured employers and vendors of administrative and managed care services. Other areas of experience include regulatory oversight and legislative compliance, as well as negotiation with state and federal regulators.
Prior to joining Leonard, Street and Deinard, Anne served as associate general counsel at United HealthCare Corporation and was director of the Appellate Advocacy Program at the University of Minnesota Law School.
