Anne E.H. Li, based in the New York office, first joined Kenyon & Kenyon as a summer associate in 2005 and returned to the firm as an associate in 2006.
Ms. Li is a member of the Life Sciences practice group, with a primary focus on assisting biomedical clients in protecting and expanding patent portfolios. She also participates in counseling clients on intellectual property matters, including opinion drafting related to pharmaceutical compounds and processes, as well as due diligence analysis of patent portfolios.
Ms. Li's past research focused on reproductive endocrinology and disease control. At the University of Chicago McClintock Lab, she worked alongside a group of Ph.D. candidates conducting research on pheromones and reproductive endocrinology. Later, at the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, in Atlanta, she worked on the surveillance and control of tuberculosis, herpes and ricketsial diseases. Ms. Li gained practical experience working as an epidemiologist for the Assistant Commissioner of Health at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. While there, she participated in the investigation of the anthrax outbreak in October 2001, conducted disease surveillance and control for vector and rodent-borne disease, and coordinated some activities of the Division of Environmental Health.
