Anna Forster is a patent attorney in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery, based in its London office. She is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Group where she is involved in a broad range of IP matters, covering the procurement, exploitation and enforcement of IP rights.
These activities include the drafting and prosecution of British, European and International Patent applications. Anna has further been involved in Opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office, the preparation of infringement opinions and the preparation of restoration applications.
Anna also has experience in other aspects of IP including registered designs and trade marks.
Anna’s technical experience includes mechanical, electronics, physics, software, telecommunications and computer implemented inventions.
Anna is a European patent attorney and a registered patent attorney. She is also a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives Before the European Patent Office, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) and an associate member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
