Anna Vikse is an associate in the Labor and Municipal Departments of the firm. Ms. Vikse frequently negotiates and drafts severance agreements on behalf of employers. She also represents employers in discrimination hearings at the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, the New York State Division of Human Rights and the New York City Commission on Human Rights. Ms. Vikse represents local villages in Small Claims Assessment Review hearings. During law school, Ms. Vikse completed four full time internships, all of which focused on either labor and employment law or land use law. Following law school, Ms. Vikse completed a clerkship with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges in Boston, Massachusetts, where her primary focus was in federal workers’ compensation and whistleblower law, including Sarbanes Oxley. She also has experience in traditional labor and employment law, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, NLRA and wage and hour law. |
