Anna F. Roppo was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, Victoria College, in 1983, graduating summa cum laude. Anna received her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law, San Diego, in 1987. She was admitted to practice law in the State of California in December 1987. She is a shareholder and member of the Executive Committee of the firm.

Anna represents clients in various business disputes, including breach of contract, fraud, unfair business practices, and unfair competition.
Anna’s healthcare litigation practice includes matters involving billing, coding and vendor contracting; the continuity of patient care; medical records management; patient privacy and physician ownership interests; MSO litigation; corporate practice of medicine; physician termination involving non-compete, anti-solicitation clauses; and medical group dissolution.
In the area of real estate litigation, Anna is recognized for her extensive experience in significant eminent domain litigation, representing both municipalities and landowners in all facets of these matters. She is also known for her practice in the area of mobilehome park law including rent control, special adjustment hearings, park conversions, failure to maintain litigation, rules and regulations drafting, analysis and enforcement, leases (both month-to-month and long-term) and related matters. Anna has maintained an extensive unlawful detainer (commercial and residential) practice.
Anna represents the interests of government contractors with regard to their relationship with federal and local public agencies, including litigation filed by third parties against the government contractors.
Anna has tried 5 cases to jury verdict and has had numerous bench trials and arbitrations. |
