Ann Zeichner is a Partner at Lonergan Partners and has responsibility for the firm's wireless and wireline communications, and software practices. In this capacity, Ann leads search projects for CEO and Vice President-level executives in the areas of Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, Product Management, General Management as well as Board of Directors. An executive recruiter with over twenty-five years of technology market experience, Ann was a serial entrepreneur before joining the firm. She identified new markets and built early industry leaders across the technology spectrum at service providers, software, and hardware firms. Leveraging her hands-on experience as a senior operating executive, Ann is able to keenly focus on candidate requirements for each search. Most recently, Ann was the founder of Zeichner Consulting, a specialty marketing and management consulting firm in Silicon Valley. In that capacity, Ann advised emerging and established companies, venture and private equity clients on issues of strategy, product marketing, sales, business development and market segmentation. Ann's clients included such firms as: VantagePoint Venture Partners, LongBoard, OpSource, Tymphany and others.Prior to her career in management consulting, Ann was Vice President of Sales & Marketing at NorthPoint Communications, a pioneering competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC). Ann launched the company and led the national roll out of DSL-based local access services, successfully negotiating relationships with major carriers including Verizon, SBC, Global Crossing, and XO as well as 250 ISPs, generating $80+ million in annual revenues. Earlier in her career, Ann held VP-level positions at Centrum Communications (sold to 3Com), Ascend Communications (sold to Lucent), Fibermux (sold to ADC) and Micom Communications (sold to Nortel). Ms. Zeichner received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick New Jersey. She and her family reside in Los Altos, California. |
