Dr. Ann Weeks is Associate Vice President for Planning, Research, and Accreditation at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Prior to this position, she was Director of Institutional Research and Sponsored Funds at the college.
Dr. Weeks earned a doctorate in higher education administration from Columbia University Teachers College; a master’s degree in mathematics from SUNY New Paltz; a bachelor’s degree in religion from the University of Michigan; and an associate degree in nursing from Dutchess Community College. She holds permanent certification for teaching secondary mathematics in New York State and is a licensed registered nurse (R.N.).
Dr. Weeks began her career teaching high school and college mathematics. Her first positions in higher education administration were Assistant Registrar and then Director of Institutional Research at Dutchess Community College. Following these, she became Assistant to the President for Institutional Research and Planning at SUNY’s College at Old Westbury, where she served as a member of the president’s cabinet and was responsible for Institutional Research, the Office of the Registrar, and Administrative Computing.
Additional positions held by Dr. Weeks include: Assistant Dean in the School of Education at St. John’s University; adjunct education professor in the graduate school; and various consultancies. Dr. Weeks has published numerous research studies in the field of higher education.
