Ann spent 4 years as Gold Violin's COO. Prior to joining Gold Violin, she was Executive Vice President of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation, the private nonprofit organization that owns and operates Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson. As the number two executive at Monticello, Ann was responsible for all of the organization’s financial, accounting, retail, investment, and operational areas, with a $40 million endowment and 300 employees. Ann launched and managed the Monticello Catalog, which together with three retail stores produces $12 million in annual sales and operates a 22,000 square foot distribution center. Prior to joining Monticello, Ann was Financial Project Manager at James River Corporation. She began her career as a media planner at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising in New York. Ann received her BA with distinction from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. |
