Ms. Cresce was Director of Compliance and Assistant General Counsel at IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. where she was responsible for the development of regulatory compliance programs under US and UK regulatory regimes. Ms. Cresce was previously Corporate Secretary and Director of Shareholder Relations at Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Inc. There, she reorganized the Office of the Secretary and developed a shareholder relations function for the newly established shareholder structure. This was the first demutualization of a domestic futures exchange from a mutual organization to a shareholder organization. She was involved with corporate governance and compliance issues and was responsible for the management and implementation of various matters regarding the initial distribution of common stock and the transition from a mutual organization to a shareholder organization. She was part of both the demutualization team and the IPO team. Ms. Cresce has also held positions as Vice President, Compliance and Legal Counsel at both Refco, Inc. and Carr Futures Inc. Ms. Cresce’s career also includes a market oversight role at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the position of Director of Investigations and Market Surveillance at the Chicago Board of Trade. She has spoken on numerous Futures Industry Association panels on regulatory and compliance issues. Ms. Cresce holds a Juris Doctor from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1995. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. |
