Ann Rubin is the Managing Partner of Carmody & Torrance, and practices primarily in business litigation. Ann’s trial experience in both state and federal court includes her successful defense of a $10,000,000 lender liability and legal malpractice federal court action and more than fifty trials and contested evidentiary proceedings, including injunction and prejudgment remedy proceedings. Ann has defended several federal court class actions brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Credit Repair Organizations Act, and has managed a large number of multi-million dollar loan workout cases on behalf of lenders and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. She has a special interest in Alternate Dispute Resolution, and has developed and led many successful ADR projects for cases ranging from commercial lease disputes to securities class actions.
