Anita Rubino is senior vice president, business processes of Nielsen Media Research, a role she was appointed to in 2001. She is a member of the senior leadership team reporting to Susan Whiting, Chairman, and has offices in both New York and the Brooker Creek Florida campus.
Anita is responsible for implementing an integrated client service strategy across the organization as well as directing the development of new client channels. She is currently the executive sponsor of the team responsible for the design and implementation of an integrated web strategy which launched the new Nielsenmedia.com in the fall of 2005. She partners with the senior management team on a variety of client, organizational management and business continuity issues and has the areas of client support, helpline and Nielsen University under her prevue.
Prior to this role, Anita served as senior vice president and chief human resources officer worldwide for the media measurement and information businesses of VNU (now The Nielsen Company), which includes Nielsen Media Research.
Anita joined Nielsen Media Research in 1994 as vice president, human resources, and was promoted to chief human resources officer in 1998. In that capacity, she was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, including organizational design, development and planning, compensation and benefits, staffing and retention, change management and internal communications.
Prior to Nielsen, Anita held a number of progressively responsible positions in the Human Resources arena ranging from staffing and organizational design to senior generalist roles.
Throughout her career, Anita has consulted on process improvement, organizational effectiveness and systems requirements in various industries. She also served on a team that established and managed a research center, funded by the National Science Foundation, and developed one of the country's first electronic mail and conferencing systems at New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Anita is a vice president of the New Jersey chapter of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation. She holds a BS, magna cum laude, in Industrial Administration from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA in Marketing from Seton Hall University. |
