Angus Campbell was appointed Head of the Company’s Gas Strategic Business Unit in November 2004. In this role Mr. Campbell is responsible for the development of OSG’s LNG business. The four Q-Flex vessels currently under construction are scheduled for delivery in late 2007 and early 2008.
Since joining the Company in 1981 Mr. Campbell has held numerous positions including Operations Manager and was promoted in 1993 to Operations Director of OSG Ship Management (UK) Ltd. He has over 30 years maritime experience and was previously with Seatrain Lines and Denholm Ship Management. Mr. Campbell is a board member of OSG Nakilat Corporation OSG’s LNG joint venture with Qatar Gas Transport Company.
Mr. Campbell is a Companion of the Nautical Institute and in 1989 co-authored the successful nautical publication The Master’s Role in Collecting Evidence a practical guide for Masters and other Officers involved in making or defending maritime claims. He has served on the United Kingdom delegation to the International Maritime Organization dealing with the development and ratification of revised recommendations for the carriage of coal and bulk carrier safety. Mr. Campbell is a member of the U.K. Maritime and Coastguard Agency Standing Advisory Group on dangerous goods solid bulk cargoes and containers. |
