As an account executive with Leslie Kline Lukas & Associates, Angie Odorisio brings attention to detail, creativity and a commitment to quality to the projects she handles. Prior to joining Leslie Kline Lukas & Associates, the following outlines Ms. Odorisio's experience in public relations, fund raising and media relations:
- Served as assistant director of development for the Madonna School, a private school for children with cognitive disabilities. She managed the organization's database of over 12,000 constituents and was responsible for the Web site and quarterly newsletter, which entailed writing and editing copy, taking photos and coordinating with graphic designers. She created a variety of appeal materials, executed media placements and coordinated successful fund-raising events. In addition, Ms. Odorisio assisted with the school's feasibility study and ensuing capital campaign.
- Serving in the Human Resources department at National Indemnity Company, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., Ms. Odorisio researched, conducted interviews and composed articles for the company's weekly publication, which was sent electronically to hundreds of employees across the country. She utilized internal and external communication while helping to coordinate company events. Ms. Odorisio also served as a community liaison for guests attending Berkshire Hathaway's annual shareholders' meeting at Qwest Center Omaha.
Ms. Odorisio received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Creighton University, and she is currently pursuing a master's degree in communications from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
