Angie is a healthcare technology consultant in the Seattle office of Milliman. She has been employed in healthcare payer organizations since 2001 and joined Milliman in 2006.
Experience
Angie's professional area of practice is healthcare information technology, primarily in medical coding practices and procedures, advanced data analytics, and decision support systems. Her clients include HMOs, insurance companies, employers, and other government entities. She assists clients with various projects, including ICD-10 conversion analysis, data aggregation projects, custom report development, and MedInsight® implementations.
Angie has extensive experience working with claims system operations, including claims processing system development, code auditing software implementation, customization, and maintenance, utilization management system development, and fee schedule development and maintenance. Angie's comprehensive knowledge of medical coding has been used in claim adjudication edit reviews, medical record reviews and audits, claim appeal reviews, and utilization management policy and procedure development.
