Angie joined Lindquist & Vennum in early 2007 after serving as a real estate associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP for nearly three years. Her work there included: Representing borrowers and lenders in multimillion-dollar mortgage, mezzanine and construction financing, as well as secured and unsecured credit facilities covering all asset types Drafting and negotiating loan documents, tenant agreements and conveyance documents Representing clients in commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including industrial, office and multi-family properties Coordinating applicable due diligence, including reviews of titles, surveys, leases and contracts Supervising and managing paralegals and support staff assisting with transactions Angie’s background also includes clerking at two firms in Chicago, where her work included drafting legal memorandums and interrogatories; conducting research and due diligence review; and preparing workers’ compensation cases for arbitration and civil cases for trial. She also served as a communication liaison to Spanish-speaking clients and translated English documents into Spanish.Angie entered the field of law as a legal intern at the St. Paul Companies and a paralegal at Bank One, researching and analyzing corporate legal issues and serving as an international communication liaison to Central American public-sector agencies. |
