Angela Kolarek joined On Assignment in December of 2000. As Vice President of Human Resources for On Assignment, Ms. Kolarek is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources. Her areas of expertise include a strong knowledge of employment law, as well as skill levels in coaching and consulting, ensuring that business results are within the guidelines of ethical, value-based leadership. Leadership skills include employee relations, employment management and education, employment policy, benefits and retirement plans, worker’s compensation, regulatory affairs, health and safety, unemployment insurance and PeopleSoft HRMS system. Ms. Kolarek was a key member in the implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS and was a strategic business partner during the Sarbanes Oxley compliance certification process.
In addition to running the day-to-day Human Resources Department operation, she focuses her time on organizational development in order to align the Human Resources initiatives with the Company’s current business model and direction.
Throughout her career, Ms. Kolarek has successfully integrated business objectives and human resources programs to evolve with the demands of the human capital business. Prior to joining On Assignment in 2001, Ms. Kolarek worked as Human Resources Manager for Leslie’s Swimming Pool Supplies, a national retailer with $325M in sales and 380+ locations nationwide. Her responsibilities included management of all areas of human resources, from compensation to employee relations for all store locations nationwide. Prior to joining Leslie’s, Ms. Kolarek was the Human Resources Coordinator for Telecom Support Systems, a small start up telecommunications company.
