Anette Binder is a special counsel in the firm’s Frankfurt office and a member of the international business law team. Anette’s practice focuses on international business matters. She has extensive experience in advising on and implementing cross-border corporate reorganizations involving multiple jurisdictions, cross-border M&A transactions, advising on the establishment of branch and subsidiary operations, and international distribution structures. She regularly coordinates with and manages local counsel in various countries.
Having studied common law at the University of Exeter, Anette received an LL.M. in international business law from McGill University and further extended her international experience by working for one of the leading Canadian law firms in Toronto in 1998/99, and by supporting the international business law team in Minneapolis for a year in 2006/07. Prior to joining Faegre & Benson, Anette worked in the Frankfurt office of a law firm associated with one of the Big Four accounting firms, where she advised corporate clients on domestic as well as cross-borders transactions, often in close cooperation with tax advisors and as part of an international corporate structuring group. |
