Andy Simpson, Vice President of Construction and Design joined Famous Dave’s in May, 2005. In his former position as Director of Construction, Mr. Simpson led the transformation of Famous Dave’s development support team. In that role, he contributed significantly to Famous Dave’s Smokehouse prototype restaurant design, the building plan review process, field and construction support for company-owned and franchise restaurants, and development of systems to streamline the development process. Mr. Simpson’s experience prior to joining Famous Dave’s included serving as director of design for Hoggy’s, a barbeque restaurant and catering company, consulting for retail and restaurant businesses, and several years serving as director of design for the Steak Escape, a chain of Philly Cheesesteak restaurants.
