Andy Olenik joined Rave Wireless in May 2006 and assumed the position as Vice President of Sales in July 2007. Before joining Rave Wireless, Andy had a successful 10 year sales career focused on higher education technology and research services. From 1998 through 2002, Andy was part of the initial sales team at Blackboard (NASD: BBBB) that grew the privately-held company from 30 employees and 25 customers to more than 400 team members and 1,800 Clients. During that time, Andy was the Sales Rep of the Year (1999) and prior to his departure held the position of Central Region Sales Director across his final two years with the company. After Blackboard, Andy spent three and half years as Sales Account Executive with Datatel, Inc, a leading Higher Education ERP company. During his time at Datatel, Andy was Sales Executive of the Year (2005) and was a member of the Datatel President’s Council twice (2004 & 2005.) In addition to his past experiences in software sales, Andy worked for The Advisory Board Company (NASD: ABCO) in Washington, DC. Andy holds a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Business Administration with Honors (Cum Laude) from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. He resides in Lancaster, PA with his wife and their two children. He is an avid Chicago Cubs and Washin. |
