Andrew Tarshis has been Senior Vice President Business Affairs and Associate Counsel of the Company and General Counsel of its Joe Boxer division since July 22 2005. Prior to joining the Company Mr. Tarshis served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Windsong Allegiance Group LLC where he focused primarily on M&A intellectual property licensing and corporate matters. While at Windsong Allegiance Mr. Tarshis served as lead counsel in transactions involving the Joe Boxer Hathaway New Frontier and Como Sport brands including the licensing of the Joe Boxer brand to Kmart and the repositioning of Joe Boxer from a wholesale business to a licensing company. Prior to joining Windsong Allegiance Mr. Tarshis worked as a general attorney at Toys R Us Inc. where he was responsible for intellectual property corporate and Internet matters. Prior to joining Toys R Us Mr. Tarshis worked for 7 years in private practice as a general practice and intellectual property attorney. Mr. Tarshis received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1988 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1992. |
