Mr. Pugliese has over 20 years of software development and project management experience. He specializes in the design and delivery of secure, large scale, database applications with distributed computing capabilities and multi-user transaction processing requirements. As lead database developer for Base One’s team at Edison Media Research, Mr. Pugliese helped build the exit polling system for Election Day 2004, which was used by major news organizations to project election winners for 120 races and to understand voter motivations and behavior. Prior to joining Base One, Mr. Pugliese was Director of Ameritrade, where he led the development of business-to-business systems to support data aggregation and strategic partnerships. Before that, he worked for 10 years at Deutsche Bank North America, starting as a senior programmer, then systems architect and project manager. As vice president for U.S. and Latin America Custody Technology, he designed and led the development of a high-reliability data warehouse system built with Base One’s software that supports their global securities custody business. Mr. Pugliese has a degree in Computer Science from Polytechnic University. |
