Dr. Miller came to Ionian in the beginning of 2004 to lead the assay development efforts for our biodefense-related projects. Previously, he served as the Director of High Throughput Operations at Egea Biosciences, focused on developing the technology platforms for the efficient construction of synthetic genes. Dr. Miller previously held senior technical positions with DNA Sciences and Sequana Therapeutics, developing and applying molecular biology techniques for the analysis of nucleic acids, including the identification of genes involved in common disorders and high-throughput genotyping methods. Dr. Miller received his undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego, and his Ph.D. in genetics from Stanford University. |
