Mr. McLauchlan joined Carrix in 1991. After earning his Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California in 1983, he held senior staff positions within the United States Senate and other levels of government, including chief budget and financial advisor to U.S. Senator Daniel J. Evans and chief of staff of the Washington State Senate Ways and Means Committee. Since leaving government service, he has served as a vessel and marine superintendent and Carrix’s director of government affairs. In 1993, he assisted with the overall development of MIT and, in 1994, Mr. McLauchlan relocated to Panama and assumed the position of vice president of Marketing. In 1996 he returned to Carrix’s corporate office overseeing numerous project developments and major customer relationships and contracts for the international division. Currently, Mr. McLauchlan is executive vice president of Carrix, overseeing the external relationships of Carrix and its subsidiaries, both commercial and governmental.
