Andrew is OuterLink’s CEO and a member of its Board of Directors. He is a 20 year technology industry veteran. Prior to joining OuterLink in August 2007, he served as Vice President, Business Development for Corel Corporation where he was responsible for the company’s global business development strategy which included building alliances with large technology organizations, joint ventures, OEM arrangements, mergers & acquisitions and key partnerships. During his tenure at Corel, he was responsible for driving corporate development strategy which led to the acquisitions of WinZip and InterVideo. As a member of the executive team Andrew was also involved in critical aspects of the company’s IPO in May 2006.
Prior to joining Corel, Andrew was an independent consultant working with high-profile technology organizations, such as ProfitLogic(acquired by Oracle), ATG, OrderMotion, NewScale, mValent and Hurwitz Associates, to create and implement business development strategies. He formed alliances with tier one technology vendors on behalf of clients, while helping secure and implement a range of other strategic alliances, OEM arrangements, and channel and marketing programs.
Previously, Andrew held several executive positions including Chief Operating Officer at Beaconvision where he managed a major company acquisition, and served as Vice President of Business Development at CommercialWare where he was responsible for developing strategic alliances and joint ventures. He has also held senior sales and marketing positions at Hancock Software, OpenOrders (acquired by IBM), and The Net Collaborative.
