Andrew Johnson is co-founder and President of Jova Solutions. Andrew led the development of Jova Solutions core process control and data management platform and its flagship software solution, FermWorks. Andrew specializes in data and control systems for biotechnology with particular expertise in the life sciences and biotechnology industries. He has built diagnostics programs for DNA sequencers and process control applications, such as fermentation monitoring and control systems that enhance productivity in laboratory environments. He has licensed DNA synthesis control software to Stanford University, Genomic Solutions, and other parties. He has provided extensive support for the University of California at Berkeley Integrated Biology and Chemistry departments.Prior to co-founding Jova Solutions, Andrew ran a successful consulting company, working with many of the top biotechnology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, improving their process control and monitoring systems. Andrew received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Francisco State University in 1992. |
