Andrew Guggenhime has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since April 2006. Guggenhime joined PDL BioPharma from Neoforma, Inc., where he had been CFO since October 2000. He was previously Vice President of Corporate Development.
Prior to joining Neoforma in early 2000, Guggenhime was a Vice President in the Healthcare Investment Banking group of Merrill Lynch & Co. Previously, he worked at Wells Fargo & Company in a number of capacities. Guggenhime earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international politics and economics from Middlebury College and a Master of Management degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
