In his role as Executive Vice President of Business Development, Andrew Fisher is responsible for developing CounterPath's strategic alliances with Service Providers, Value Added Resellers and Telecoms Equipment Manufacturers globally. Andrew has developed award-wining telecommunication products for enterprises in a wide variety of vertical segments. Currently, he runs all e-business activities at CounterPath, which sees on average over one hundred thousand product downloads per month.
Andrew has an academic background in economics, computer science and engineering and is a graduate of the University of British Columbia. Previous to CounterPath, Andrew founded NewHeights Software Corporation and other successful new ventures for Wesley Clover. He has also been employed by the Canadian Department of National Defense and Natural Resources Canada. Andrew is an active participant in both the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Internet Engineering Task Force. |
