As vice president Account Management, Andrew Cuomo is responsible for managing all sales and service programs of Worldspan’s key customers and major global accounts. These areas of responsibility include large travel management companies and corporate clients, as well as major carriers Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines. Cuomo is based at Worldspan's headquarters in Atlanta and reports to Chief Commercial Officer, Ninan Chacko. Prior to joining Worldspan in December 2005, Cuomo was a consultant to several of the United States’ largest traditional travel packagers and distributors. He earlier served as chief of staff and corporate officer at Sabre Inc. While there, Cuomo also served as senior vice president of Marketing Travel Marketing and Distribution, and senior vice president, Account Management Information Technology Systems. Cuomo previously worked for AMR Corporation (American Airlines) as managing director Corporate Development, a position that led to him to found and become president of AMR Management Services. He was also a senior attorney at AMR. Cuomo’s career began with the Dallas law firm of Haynes and Boone, where he was an associate attorney. Cuomo graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, and holds a juris doctor degree from the Notre Dame Law School. |
