Andrew practices in the areas of audit, due diligence and accounting systems consulting engagements, with an emphasis on manufacturing and consumer finance industries.
Prior to practicing public accounting, Mr. Ruffner served in management with a manufacturer of computer and electronic components where he participated in the successful certification of his department to ISO 9001 standards. He brought his manufacturing experience to public accounting at Joseph Decosimo & Company in 1995.
Andrew initially practiced in the area of individual and corporate taxation before moving to audit and accounting, where he has served clients in a variety of manufacturing, consumer finance, non-profit and professional sports industries.
Andrew is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Andrew has served on various fund-raising campaign programs, including the Salvation Army, the United Way, and the YMCA. Presently, he serves as board treasurer for the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy. Andrew is also a Paul Harris Fellow with the Chattanooga Rotary Club.
Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1991 and became a certified public accountant in November of 1995. |
