Andrew W. Robertson is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group in the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Mr. Robertson's practice focuses on private securities litigation and criminal and regulatory investigations.
Mr. Robertson has defended several leading companies and financial institutions in connection with class and derivative litigation under federal and state law. He has extensive experience with litigation under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and has represented many of the nation's largest and best known mutual fund investment advisers, including AllianceBernstein, American Century, Capital Group, Citigroup, Fidelity, and Legg Mason.
In addition, Mr. Robertson has represented companies and individuals in connection with criminal and regulatory investigations, including matters involving the subprime mortgage crisis, stock option grant practices, accounting for complex derivatives transactions, tax-exempt bond offerings, and payment card transaction fees.
Mr. Robertson earned a B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics and Philosophy from Vanderbilt University in 2000, and a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2003. At NYU, he served as Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law & Politics. |
