Andrew W. Maron, a partner in the firm, focuses his practice on two principal areas, construction law, and municipal law.
Andy has experience in all types of civil litigation, large and small, state and federal, local and regional. He has handled cases in traditional courtroom litigation as well as in arbitration and mediation.
In his construction law practice, he represents owners, contractors, and suppliers in all phases of the construction process: negotiation, contract preparation and dispute resolution. Educated as an engineer, he has the unique ability to understand the complex technical issues in today's construction industry.
Andy is also the co-chair of SCB's Municipal Law Practice Group. As such, he oversees the firm's legal services to local governments. He currently serves as general counsel for two large water districts and has provided special counsel assistance to many other local municipalities.
Andy has been selected as a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics magazine every year since 2001. In 2006, he was named one of "Washington's Most Amazing Attorneys" in the field of construction law by Washington CEO Magazine. |
