Mr. Krusen, age 58, graduated from Princeton University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology. He began his career in the energy industry, in which he remains heavily involved. Since 1987, he has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dominion Financial Group, Inc., a merchant banking organization that provides investment capital to the natural resources, communications, niche manufacturing and distribution, and medical technology sectors.
Mr. Krusen served as a director of Florida Banks, Inc. ("Florida Banks") from August 1998 until its acquisition in July 2004. He also served as Chairman of the Board of First National Bank of Tampa from 1991 until its acquisition by Florida Banks in August 1998. He is currently a director and chairman of Florida Capital Bank Group, Inc. - a Florida bank holding company.
Mr. Krusen serves as a director of several publicly traded corporations - Memry Corporation, Highpine Oil and Gas Ltd., a Canadian oil and gas concern; and Raymond James Trust Company, a subsidiary of Raymond James Financial, Inc. - and numerous privately held companies.
Mr. Krusen is a former member of the Young Presidents Organization, and he is currently a member of the World President's Organization and Society of International Business Fellows. He is past Chairman of Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry, a Director of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Florida Council of 100, and former Trustee of the University of Tampa, Tampa Preparatory School, and Florida Education Fund.
Mr. Krusen resides in Tampa, Florida and is married with three children.
