Andrew T. Harry is an attorney in the firm's Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group focusing on patent prosecution. He has experience prosecuting patent applications in technologies which include terrestrial wireless communications systems, satellite communications systems, telecommunications, digital signal processing, network architectures, electro-mechanical assemblies, audio and video processing and display technologies, signal compression and encoding schemes, recording medium formatting and construction, e-commerce, business methods and many other related technologies. In the fields of terrestrial wireless communications systems, signal compression and encoding schemes, and recording medium formatting and construction, Mr. Harry has extensive experience in drafting claims to cover industry standards.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Harry was an Examiner in the wireless communications art at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He also worked as a systems engineer in the field of satellite communications at Booz Allen and Hamilton.
Mr. Harry received his Law degree from American University, Washington College of Law, in May 2006. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 1999, with a specialization in communications and digital signal processing.
Mr. Harry is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA). |
