Andrew Berdy is the President of NS Microwave, located in Spring Valley, California. NS Microwave is a microwave surveillance security company that was acquired by The Allied Defense Group in December 2001.
Mr. Berdy has extensive experience running the operations of large organizations, managing the resources and personnel of those organizations and providing advice and counsel to senior decision makers in both government and industry.
During his thirty year military career with the U.S. Army, Mr. Berdy commanded several units, including 2-187 In, 101st Airborne Division. He also commanded the 1st Brigade 10th Mountain Division, a 3000 (+) soldier brigade task force that was instrumental in restoring democracy in Haiti. He retired in 2000 as Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Following his retirement, Mr. Berdy joined Enron Corporation as Vice President of Business Operations in the Construction Management Services Company of Enron Energy Services. He was hired at NS Microwave as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2002 and was promoted to President in 2003. |
