ANDREW P. SILBERFEIN Executive Vice President and Director of Finance
Andrew Silberfein, as Executive Vice President and Director of Finance, has the overall responsibility of managing all aspects of Forest City Ratner Companies' debt and equity financing requirements for its existing real estate portfolio, as well as for its extensive pipeline of projects under development and construction.
Since joining Forest City in April of 1995, Mr. Silberfein has successfully structured, negotiated and closed in excess of $3.5 billion of construction, permanent, bridge, mezzanine loans, and joint venture equity. These financings, which include both taxable and tax-exempt credit facilities, have been secured for the following asset classes: retail, office, hotel and residential. Mr. Silberfein has over 16 years of industry experience in financing,, development and leasing of multiple asset classes, principally in metropolitan New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Silberfein holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Columbia University School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Lafayette College.
