Andrew Reibman has experience in a variety of intellectual property matters including drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparation of patent validity and infringement opinions, and participating in patent litigations. Mr. Reibman's work has focused on clients in the telecommunications and computer industries, including software, hardware, and networks. He has also worked on matters related to other technical areas, including mechanical design, composites, mass spectrometers, piezoelectrics, automotive electronics, and automatic control.
Mr. Reibman brings to Kenyon & Kenyon a graduate degree and more than ten years of business and technical experience in computer and telecommunications research and development. At AT&T Bell Laboratories he had P&L responsibility for a technical consulting business and managed a research group working in the areas of computer system and microelectronics reliability, real-time systems, and fault-tolerant systems and networks. He also worked as an executive in the area of high-performance system utility software. He has technical experience in databases, programming in many languages, numerical analysis, data mining and statistical analysis, and operating systems.
Mr. Reibman interned for the Hon. John C. Lifland, a district judge in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, assisting the judge with patent cases.
Mr. Reibman is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars, and is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
