Andrew J. Waldera joined the firm in 2002. Mr. Waldera practices in the areas of water, environmental/natural resources, land use law, and general litigation. He received his B.S. magna cum laude in Biology and Environmental Science from Tufts University and earned his J.D. with a certificate in environmental and natural resources law from the University of Oregon School of Law.Mr. Waldera is a member of the Idaho State Bar, and he is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. Currently, Mr. Waldera is serving in his second term as Chair of the Idaho State Bar Water Law Section. Mr. Waldera authors monthly articles as a member of the Editorial Board of the Western Water Law and Policy Reporter, a water law publication distributed to water resource professionals throughout the western United States. Mr. Waldera’s writing also includes water / natural resource law-based articles for The Advocate, the official publication of the Idaho State Bar.A lifelong hockey player, Mr. Waldera volunteers teaching the game and skating techniques to local youth at Idaho Ice World in Boise. Mr. Waldera is also a member of the Tufts University Alumni Admissions Program, conducting local admissions and interviews and answering the questions of local student/applicants who have shown an interest in the University.
