J. Andrew Stephenson is chair of the Firm’s Environmental Practice Group and a member of Litigation Practice Group and the Transactional department.
Mr. Stephenson is an environmental lawyer with 15 years of environmental litigation, transactional and counseling experience representing public and privately held companies, non-profit organizations and municipalities. His practice includes air, water, wetlands, solid and hazardous waste, pesticides, CERCLA, RCRA, ISRA, civil and administrative enforcement actions and proceedings, environmental impact assessment, permitting and regulatory counseling, site remediation, brownfields, acquisition and disposition of environmentally stressed properties, real property project development counseling, environmental due diligence and agreement negotiations in M&A and bond financing transactions, and drafting and negotiating regulatory agreements for chemical industry clients.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2006, Mr. Stephenson was head of the environmental practice at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP and was an environmental associate at Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. |
