Mr. Kriegler was appointed Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer for Moody’s Corporation in February 2007. He is responsible for all global HR activities, including recruiting, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, organizational development and HR information systems.
Until his current appointment, Mr. Kriegler was the Canadian Country Managing Director for Moody’s Investors Service. He was responsible for Moody’s Canadian ratings and for representing Moody’s to the Canadian financial markets, its financial and securities regulators and the federal and provincial governments.
Prior to joining Moody’s in 2000, Andrew managed Canada Trust’s liquidity risk and created its funding and securitization programs. He directed the institution’s credit market access and represented the company to institutional investors as well as to government and regulators in matters concerning liquidity risk and asset securitization.
Prior to that, Mr. Kriegler was an investment banker with the securitization and debt capital markets groups at BMO Nesbitt Burns. He provided advisory services on traditional and structured financings for a range of corporate, financial institution and project borrowers.
Mr. Kriegler is a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Oversight Council (AASOC). An independent body, AASOC was established to provide public interest oversight of the activities of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board of the CICA.
Mr. Kriegler received an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1990 and a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Economics from Trinity College in the University of Toronto in 1986. |
