Mr. Seiden, a partner in the Firm’s International Corporate Department, has extensive experience in domestic and transnational corporate and commercial transactions, with an emphasis on private equity; joint ventures; M&A; and entertainment, media and advertising industry transactions. Mr. Seiden’s corporate experience includes structuring, negotiating and documenting acquisitions and divestitures for private equity and strategic buyers and sellers; the formation and operation of joint ventures, corporations, LLCs and partnerships; executive employment agreements; venture capital; private placements of debt and equity; and structured finance. Mr. Seiden’s commercial experience includes outsourcing, rights aggregation and supply agreements; strategic alliances; general commercial advice; and agreements for the licensing, development, production, distribution and finance of intellectual property assets. Mr. Seiden oversees the Firm’s activities in entertainment and advertising and the Firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. Mr. Seiden has represented clients in diverse industry sectors, including: manufacturing; consumer and industrial products; entertainment and media; advertising; internet tools; computer software; electronic games; alternative energy; hotels and resorts; commodities; and financial services. Mr. Seiden has previously served as a senior business and legal affairs executive in the theatrical motion picture division of a major motion picture studio and as the general counsel of a developer, publisher and distributor of electronic games. Mr. Seiden has been active in environmental conservation and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters.
