As Regional Senior Vice President to Duke Realty Corporation's Mid-Atlantic Region, Andrew manages and leads Duke's business units in Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Raleigh. He will also pursue new opportunities in the region, which range from New Jersey to the Carolinas.
Andrew joined Duke in 2000 as Senior Vice President of Duke's Raleigh market, were he oversaw the North Carolina operations. Prior to joining Duke he was Executive Vice President of Chelm Properties in Solon, Ohio. At Chelm, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a full-service development company with more 5 million square feet of property in Northeast Ohio and Texas.
Significant achievements in the Raleigh office include Andrew and his team bringing Lenovo to Wake County. Lenovo's corporate campus will encompass 500,000 SF of prime office space upon completion. The transaction also resulted in 1,800 existing jobs remaining in the Research Triangle, as well as 400 new jobs to be added.
Additionally, Andrew has chaired and served on 6 strategic corporate committees and he currently chairs the Port Committee, which analyzed Port Business across the country. A port strategy was put together, and resulted in Duke entering the Savannah and Baltimore markets.
Andrew graduated in 1981 from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He is Director of the Board member of the Triangle Chapter of National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce and the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce/Wake County Economic Development, of which he is Chairman of the Corporate Relocation Committee. |
