Andrew B. Joseph is a partner in the firm's Communication and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. Andrew is an experienced trial attorney who has tried multiple cases to verdict in both New Jersey and New York. His areas of practice include commercial litigation, consumer class action litigation, securities litigation and the defense of white collar criminal investigations and prosecutions.
Andrew has represented officers, corporations and shareholders in a wide array of disputes, including employment disputes, contractual disputes, negligence claims and whistleblower claims. He has also defended corporations in connection with a variety of consumer class action matters. Andrew has also represented corporations, their officers and employees in investigations before federal and state grand juries and in defense of criminal matters in the federal and state trial courts.
Before joining Drinker Biddle & Reath, Andrew worked as a senior assistant district attorney in the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York. During his career there, Andrew was responsible for numerous high profile prosecutions and was recognized for his accomplishments as a prosecutor.
While attending law school, Andrew was awarded the Reverend John J. Murphy Award, Best Brief Writer. Andrew has served as a barrister in the C. Willard Heckel Chapter of the American Inns of Court and is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. |
