Andrew A. Wolff, M.D., F.A.C.C. has served as our Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Research and Development since September 2004. From September 1994 until September 2004, Dr. Wolff held various positions of increasing responsibility at CV Therapeutics, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. From 1988 until 1994, he served in various drug development positions of increasing responsibility in both the US and the UK for Syntex Corporation, most recently as the Executive Director of Medical Research and New Molecules Clinical Programs Leader. Since 1986, Dr. Wolff has held an appointment in the Cardiology Division of the University of California, San Francisco, where he is currently an Associate Clinical Professor, and an Attending Cardiologist in the Coronary Care Unit at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Wolff received a B.A. degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Dayton and an M.D. from Washington University Medical School in Saint Louis, Missouri. |
