Notable Engagements:
Obtained summary judgment for national apartment rental company in multi-plaintiff housing discrimination suit.
Defended real estate investment trust against claims of race and age discrimination. Jury returned a defense verdict on all claims.
Defended consulting firm against claims of breach of contract, defamation, tortious interference, and negligence. Trial court directed a defense verdict at the close of plaintiff's case.
Defended major restaurant chain against suit to terminate the client's lease. Summary judgment granted to client shortly before trial.
Defended client against breach of contract claim. Summary judgment was granted to client, together with an award of fees and costs.
Defended large retailer against race discrimination and retaliation claims. Summary judgment was granted to client against all five employees who brought the suit.
Defended airline against five employment suits involving race, sex and disability discrimination. Four suits were dismissed on dispositive motions, and one was settled for a nominal amount.
