Dr. Cangellaris co-founded the IEEE Topical Meeting on Electrical Performance of Electronic Packaging, a conference considered to be premier in the area of package electrical analysis and design. He is also an active participant in the Electronic Components and Technology Conference and serves as member of the Technical Program Committee for the International Microwave Symposium. Dr. Cangellaris is Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. From 1985 to 1987, Dr. Cangellaris worked as senior research engineer in the Department of Electronics Engineering in General Motors Research Laboratories. Prior to joining the University of Illinois in 1997, Dr. Cangellaris was on the faculty of the ECE Department at the University of Arizona. Dr. Cangellaris received the Diploma in electrical engineering in 1981 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and an MS and PhD in electrical engineering, from the University of California at Berkeley in 1983 and 1985 |
