Andrea Zappia joined SKY Italia as a Marketing Director in May of 2003. In 2006 he was appointed as the Vice President of Marketing, Promotion and New Business Development. Since June 2007 Andrea has operated as the Vice President of Sports Channels for SKY. He has played an integral role in the development of new business on the mobile platform, introduction of IPTV partnerships and the launch of the new SKY Web site. Andrea came to SKY after serving two years with Fila as the Vice president of Global Marketing and Communications and the Vice President of Apparel where he was responsible for the strategic development of products and Fila brand management. Prior to his tenure at Fila he spent time at Ferrari-Maserati, and Proctor & Gamble.. Andrea was born in Tripoli, Italy but grew up in Bologna, Italy where he received an Economics and Commerce degree from the local university.
