Andrea Worland is a Managing Director of Major, Lindsey & Africa based in Richmond, Virgina. Her practice focuses on placing attorneys in law firms and corporations in Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding areas.
Prior to joining MLA, Andrea was a Managing Recruiter with a nationally recognized search firm. She began her legal career in the Office of the General Counsel of American Insurance Association in Washington, D.C. Andrea returned to Richmond where she maintains exceptional relationships with high-level decision makers and talent in Richmond's elite corporations and law firms.
Andrea holds a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and a B.A. in international relations from The College of William and Mary.
Andrea is President of a non-profit organization founded by musician Peter Gabriel which merges human technology with primate and dolphin communication. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board of MAP (Maui Ape Preserve). She is also actively involved in local charities in Richmond.
A native of Richmond, Andrea and her family continue to love living near the Fan District. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending live concerts and traveling to the United Kingdom to see friends. |
