Dr. Small-Howard earned her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at the University of Southern California (USC) and her A.B. (with honors) in Biology from Occidental College, Los Angeles. She completed her education as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queen's Center for Biomedical Research at Queen's Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Small-Howard has been involved in research for nineteen years, and her areas of expertise are in biochemistry and immunology. She is the author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has made a number of presentations at national scientific meetings. |
